A Different Kind of Senior Living

Most senior living falls into two categories: large institutional facilities that sacrifice intimacy for scale, or informal care homes that sacrifice quality for affordability. We saw a third path.

Sarana Senior Living was created to fill the gap between commercial senior care and the kind of personalized attention that families actually want. Our purpose-built 16-resident homes combine the warmth and familiarity of a true home with the professional care standards of a licensed facility.

Every decision we make — from the architecture of our residences to the ratio of staff we hire — is guided by one question: Would this be good enough for our own family?

The Sarana Standard

Sarana is a Sanskrit word meaning refuge, shelter, and protection. It reflects our deepest commitment — to create a true sanctuary where residents find safety, dignity, and joy.

The number isn't arbitrary. Research consistently shows that smaller residential settings produce better outcomes — fewer hospitalizations, lower medication use, higher family satisfaction, and measurably better quality of life.

At 16 residents, our homes are large enough to offer professional-grade care, diverse social engagement, and financial sustainability — but small enough that every resident is known, understood, and genuinely cared for as an individual.
